William E. Ross, Sr.

William E. Ross, Sr., 84, of Uledi, PA, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2013 in the Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, PA.

He was born in 1929, in Uliphant Twp., Allegheny County, the son of William and Margaret (Cahle) Ross.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters Ruth Logston and Leona Thomas.

William served his country with the 25th Infantry Division, 14th Infantry Regiment, in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was the owner of R & R Services, in Hinsdale, IL, specializing in HVAC and appliance repairs.

He will be sadly missed by his son William E. Ross, Jr. and his mother, Alice (Claussen) Ross; granddaughter Lannie Ross; special friend Olive O' Connor; three sisters Mildred Rutherford, Geraldine Karas and Opal Lutz; brother Frank Ross and wife Minnie, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA, today, November 3, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-9 PM and Monday, November 4, 2013 until 11:00 AM, the hour of service with Rev. Jay Polowsky officiating.

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
