Walter "Wally" Edgar Crapp, 55, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2008 at his home with his loving family by his side.
He was born March 30, 1953, in Brownsville, the son of Eva Mae Shreve Crapp and the late Walter Albert Crapp. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his sister Jean McGaw.
Walter was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the Vietnam War.
In addition to his mother he will be sadly missed by his wife Rebecca Pearson Crapp, Brownsville, sons Michael Crapp and wife Heather of Charleroi, PA and Deron Crapp of Brownsville; his precious granddaughter Serah Crapp, sister Jamie Crapp Brame of Allison 2, four nieces, two nephews and his cat Snowball.
Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA on Saturday, November 15, 2008 from 1:30 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at 9:00 pm in the funeral home with the Rev. John Pipp officiating.
Military Rites will be accorded at 2:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home, by American Legion Posts 940, 838, and 295.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Walter's name to the American Cancer Society Fayette 140 N Beeson Blvd Rm 401 Uniontown, PA 15401.
