Thelma Mae (Gardner) Hartman

Thelma Mae (Gardner) Hartman, 66, of Fayette City, PA passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at home with her husband by her side.

She was born April 8, 1951 in Dawson, PA, the daughter of John Lewis and Lida Mae (Sechrist) Gardner.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers Ralph Gardner and Melvin Gardner; nephew, Wm. Scott Gardner; niece Vienna Boyle; two brother in laws, Tom Ewing and James Vargo and father in law, Lewis Hartman.

Thelma will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Walter Hartman, Fayette City, PA; two sons, Brock Hartman and wife Margie, Smithfield, PA and Brian Hartman and fiancé, Samantha, Uniontown; step grandson, Teddy Smith; two brothers, Lewis and Janet Gardner, Dawson, PA and Carl Gardner, Dawson, PA; sister Margaret Vargo, Irwin, PA; mother in law, Nettie Hartman, Fayette City, PA; two sister in laws, Alvina Ewing, Flatwoods, PA and Mary Gardner, Perryopolis, PA; two brother in laws, George Hartman and Patricia, Punxsutawney, PA and Tim Hartman and Tammy, Fayette City, PA and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA, on Friday, May 19, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM.  The funeral service will begin at 12:30pm with Rev. Edward Truitt officiating.

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
