Sylvia "Joy" (Elias) Williams, 72, of Brownsville, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 19, 2012 at The Grand Residence, Upper St. Clair, PA.
She was born February 22, 1940 in Monessen, PA, the daughter of the late Barket and Edna (Dahood) Elias. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by Sisters Mariam Huffman and Beverly Elias, Granddaughter Melissa Williams and Son-in-law Robert Page.
Joy was an Office Manager at California University of PA before taking her position as Business Administrator at Kenric Manor in Donora, PA and was a longtime member of Saint Michael Antiochian Orthodox Church in Monessen.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Terri Williams, of Chattanooga, TN, and Brenda Collins, and husband Bob, of Penncraft, PA, son Richard Williams, of Brownsville, PA, Sisters Tamara Burnworth, and husband Jim, of West Newton, PA and Victoria Elias, and husband Elias, of McComb, Michigan, 3 Grandchildren Keri Anne Huey, Richard Williams and Erica Williams, 3 Great-Grandchildren Sailor Huey, Richard Williams II and Jaden Kain, and Leonard Williams to whom she was married for 26 years, several Nieces and Nephews.
Services are in the care of NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA and will be private for the family.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of The Grand Residence, Upper St. Clair, PA along with a special thank you to the owners Bill and Kathy Polachek.
