Shirley Mae (Glover) Little

Shirley Mae Little, 80, of Grindstone, PA, passed at home on Friday, March 31, 2017.

She was born May 7, 1936 in Alvy, West Virginia, the daughter of Harold Kieffer and Beulah Belle (Roberts) Glover.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert F. Glover and Ronald Jack Glover, who passed in infancy.

Shirley graduated from Redstone High School in 1954 as Valedictorian of her class.  She had many careers throughout her life. She sold Avon, Beeline and Tupperware, was the leader of Girl Scout Troop 3096, school bus driver and finally a tax preparer which she did from her home.  Shirley was a member of New Life Free Methodist Church in Smock, PA.  

She will be sadly missed by her husband of 63 years, William (Bill) Little, Sr., Grindstone, PA; two children, Sharon Rafter and husband John, Smock, PA and William Little, Jr. and Nadine Redman, West Brownsville, PA; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandson; two brothers, Jerry Glover and wife Dolores, Brownsville, PA and Donald Glover, Grindstone, PA; two sisters, Rebecca Kahl and husband Roy, Mon Valley, PA and Karen Setz and husband Ulrich, Summersfield, FL, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA, today, Sunday, April 2, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and Monday, April 3, 2017 until 11:00 AM the hour of service with Pastor Ken Walls officiating.

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
