Sandra Jean Mayle, 70, of Hiller, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at home.
She was born January 18, 1946 in Brownsville, PA, the daughter of Samuel and Theresa (McBride) Williams. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Carmen Williams and sister, Barbara Tokar.
Sandi graduated in 1963 from John A. Brashear High School in Brownsville and then went on to attend Waynesburg College.
She worked for W.B. Kania and Associates in Uniontown, PA, Basco's Stop & Shop in Brownsville, PA and the Pennsylvania Department of Public Assistance in Uniontown, PA.
Sandi was a member of Fort Burd Presbyterian Church, Brownsville, PA. She belonged to the Monessen Chapter 205 of the Eastern Star, was past president of Hiller VFD Ladies Auxiliary and past treasurer of Brownsville Little League.
She will be sadly missed by her husband and best friend, Lovant James Mayle of Hiller, PA; two sons, Keith Bryan Mayle and wife Teresa of East Millsboro, PA and Christopher Lovant Mayle and wife Jennifer of South Park, PA; two granddaughters, Elania Grace and Keira Regan Mayle; grandson, Allen Christopher Mayle; sister in law and friend, Dorothy (Dottie) Eckels and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Sandi enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, reading books and cooking.
Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held immediately following viewing at 8:00 PM in the funeral home with Pastor Katy Yates Brungraber officiating.
