Russell Edmond Nicholson, 56, formerly of Brownsville, passed away in his home in Mckeesport, PA on Wednesday, September 19, 2007.
He was born February 6, 1951 the son of the late Howard and Thelma Tasker Nicholson. He was also preceded in death by a brother Howard Nicholson, Jr., sister Glady Hugland, and a nephew David Paul Kovach, Jr..
Russell is survived by his ex wife Rita Nicholson, Oklahoma; daughter Tammi Nicholson, Oklahoma, son Jeremy Nicholson and wife Raylenea, Oklahoma, two sisters Maisie Kovach, Brier Hill, PA and Kathleen Burd, Uniontown, PA, four grandchildren: Christian, Elijah, Karricia, and Jayden; three nieces Kimberley Lenkey and husband Todd, Kathleen McKula and husband Randy, and Billie Jo Hugland, three nephews Lawrence Burd, Robert Burd, and Richard Kovach and wife Ada; 20 great nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME 515 Front Street Brownsville, PA today from 6 - 9 pm and on Saturday from 9 - 10 am the hour of service with the Rev. William Lawson officiating.
Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
