Ronald “Zoom” Hampton, 80, of Brownsville, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 12, 2016.
He was born April 19, 1936 in Rillton, PA, the son of John and Ethel (Hudson) Hampton. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Darlene (Conner) Hampton; two daughters, Brenda and Debbie Hampton; three bothers, Gerald, Bill and Jim Hampton, and sister Dorothy Ann Stover.
“Zoom” will be sadly missed by his nine children, Joyce Hampton, Dennis Hampton, Ronnie Hampton, Joyce Houbaugh, Karen Messer, Charles Norman, David Peet, Lori Weeks and Kathryn Hay; nine grandchildren, Jeremy Sanner, Cullen Weeks, Kallie Weeks, Reese Weeks, David Peet, Jr., Kelly Larue, Christopher Steadman, Darla Larue and Gregory Howard; two brothers, Wesley and John Hampton and numerous nieces and nephews.
Professional services and arrangements are in the care of NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA and are private for the family.
