Richard Arron Patterson

Richard Arron Patterson, Sr., 54, of Hiller, PA, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at his residence.

He was born April 8, 1959, in Brownsville, PA the son of Dolores (Lancaster) and Norman Patterson, Sr.  He was preceded in death by his father.

Richard was a graduate of Brownsville Area Senior High School, class of 1978.  He played football and was on the wrestling team.  He was president and coach of Brownsville area football league and coach of Brownsville biddy league for many years.  Richard was loved by so many people and he was involved in his community.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Lynn (Randolph) Patterson; children, Tiffany  & Quintin, Richard, Jr. & Kristina, Brandon & Danielle, Justin & Dana, Ross Patterson and Tyler Smith; thirteen grandchildren; three brothers, Norman Patterson and wife Crystal, Gregory Patterson and wife Lisa and Douglas Patterson and Jill; aunt and uncle Jane and Sonny Boyd, aunt Francis Martin, uncle and aunt Patrick and Shirley Crawley; his Godson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends.

Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA on Friday, April 4, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 11:00 AM the hour of service with Minister Sandra McCain officiating.
