Oliver Crawford, 79, of West Brownsville, PA passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at Monongahela Valley Hospital, Monongahela, PA.
He was born June 22, 1927, in Fairhope, PA, the son of the late Jarrett and Gladys Spiker Crawford. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a daughter Wilda Crawford.
Oliver worked as a brakeman for Pennsylvania Railroad which was taken over by Conrail before his retirement. He also served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII in the European Theater.
He will be sadly missed by his son Jarrett O. Crawford and wife Christie of Cleveland, TN, daughter Mildred (Mitzie) Salva of Fredricktown, PA, sister Wilda Davis of Braznell, PA, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME 515 Front St. Brownsville, PA Friday, October 13, 2006 from 11:00am - 2:00pm. Burial will be private.
