Nicholas Albert Landman, 19, of Grindstone, PA, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2014 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.
He was born March 24, 1995, in Uniontown, PA, the son of Larry Albert and Renee (Race) Landman. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Albert Landman and maternal grandfather, Thomas Race.
Nicholas was a 2013 graduate of Brownsville Area High School, Brownsville, PA and a sophomore at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He was Captain of the football team for three years and lettered four years. Also, he was All Conference for three years and All County for four years. Nicholas lettered in Track & Field for three years and was named Scholar Athlete in 2013.
He will be sadly missed by his parents Larry and Renee Landman; his brother, Zachary Thomas Landman; paternal grandmother Gladys Landman and maternal grandmother Marie Race; aunts and uncles, Lora Lee Liptak and husband Thomas, Lisa Zosky and husband William and Teri Lynn Quiggle and husband Gary; numerous cousins and his three roommates, James Diaz III, Brandon Katinsky and Nicholas Lupi.
Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA on Saturday, November 29, 2014 and Sunday, November 30, 2014, from 2-4 and 6-9 PM. Additional viewing will be held on Monday, December 1, 2014 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Pleasant View Presbyterian Church in Smock, PA, with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 AM.
