Nancy Jean Bennett

Nancy Jean Bennett, 82, of Brownsville, passed away peacefully on February 27th, 2023 at Lytle’s Personal Care Home with her loving family by her side. Nancy was born on June 1st, 1940 to the late Thomas and Dorothy (Hileman) Black.

Nancy was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Brownsville and was the Sunday School Teacher at the church, and she was also a partial secretary and treasurer. Nancy was a wonderful baker and a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed dearly.

Surviving to cherish Nancy’s memory; her ex-husband James R. Bennett of Grindstone, Pa. Her son Kevin (Emily) Bennett of Warren, Pa. Her daughter Marcy (Carlos) Bennett-Perez of Puerto Rico. Sister-in-laws Donna Black of Bloomington, In. and Cindy (Steve) Krocsko of Fredericktown, Pa. and Mary Alice (Albert) Petrosky of Brier Hill, Pa. Her grandchildren Zakary Bennett of Warren, Pa. and Charity Marie Bennett of Grandy Nc. Her great grandson Jaxon Reagan Bennett of Grandy, Nc. And her special friends Louis, Cheryl, and Arlene. And numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents; Nancy is also preceded in death by her brother William R. Black. Brother-in-law Lee Bennett and her cousins Shirley, Sharron, and Becky Whellar.
