Melissa Ann (Shazer) Chiovitti

Once again the Heaven bound train pulled into the station and the conductor said, Melissa Shazer Chiovitti, age 53, get on board and she boarded that train on Friday, April 22, 2016.  

Melissa was a patient, caring person who put others before herself. She was a  care giver for NHS Services and she loved her family, her cats, and flowers.          

She was born July 18, 1962 in Ohio, the daughter of Donald Lee Shazer and Nancy Lee (Thomas) Shazer.

In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband, Silvio Chiovitti, Grindstone, PA; son Justin Chiovitti, Grindstone, PA; sister Melinda Shazer, Brownsville, PA; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA on WEDNESDAY, April 27, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and THURSDAY, April 28, 2016 until 12:00 PM, the hour of service with Pastor Les Fuller officiating.
