Mary Anne Gettemy, 81, of Brownsville, PA died in her home on Thursday, October 25, 2012 after a courageous battle with melanoma.
She was born April 30, 1931, the daughter of the late George and Margaret Kelly of California, PA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, George E. Kelly and one sister, Betty J. Boeckx.
Mary Anne graduated from California Area High School in 1949 and then from Penn Commercial Business College.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Robert W. Gettemy; daughters Susan M. Gettemy of Brownsville, PA ; Cathy L. Burns (Loland) of Washington, PA and Linda A. Gettemy of Pittsburgh, PA. Also are surviving are her beloved grandchildren Eric W. Gettemy of Pittsburgh, PA and Emily L. Burns of Washington, PA, along with several nieces and nephews.
