Mark Anthony Costello

Mark Anthony Costello, 36, of West Brownsville, PA, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at home with his family by his side.

He was born July 4, 1978 in Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, PA. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Stephen Paul Noga, and two cousins, Jay Scott Noga and Jason Paul Noga.

Mark was a police officer with California University of Pennsylvania and the California Borough. He had a passion for police work and held a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice. He also received the Seal of the Senate of Pennsylvania Award for saving the life of an unresponsive individual.

Mark was the founder of Costello and Wooten Property Management, LLC. He was a member of the Calvary Church of the Nazarene in Coal Center, PA. Mark loved God, his family, especially his son Mark and being a police officer.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Beth (Rioli) Costello, West Brownsville, PA; son, Mark Anthony Costello, Jr.; parents Terry and Garnet (Noga) Wooten; maternal grandmother, Sylvesta Noga; brother, Ronald Costello, wife Michelle and daughters Justina and Kayla; brothe,r Domenic Costello and son Hayden; step sister, Tanna Wooten Thompson; uncles Steve Noga and wife Beverly and George Noga; mother and father in law, Melissa and Joseph Rioli; sister in law, Brittany Rioli and daughter Brynn Chiovitti; all of the Wooten family; special cousin Josh Varga , and many more aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-9PM. Additional viewing will be held Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at the CALVARY CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE, 73 Promised Land Drive, Coal Center, PA, from 10:00 - 11:00 AM the hour of service with Rev. David Watts officiating. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA. Brownsville F&AM will hold a service on Tuesday at 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
