Marie "Toni" Shwallon

Marie “Toni” Shwallon, 78, of Brownsville, went to be with the Lord on April 24th, 2025, peacefully at home with her loving family by her side. Toni was born on March 1st, 1947 to the late Frank and Josephine (Augustine) Talarico.

Toni was a devout catholic and a member of the Historical Church of St. Peter and a member of the Christian Mothers of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic. At 40 years old, Toni went to college in 1993 where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration accounting from California University of Pennsylvania (PennWest California). Toni loved spending her time with her family, especially the love of her life Joseph Shwallon.

Surviving to cherish Toni’s memory; her beloved husband of 60 years Joseph Shwallon, her sons Joseph (Jody) Shwallon of St. Petersburg, FL and Kenneth Shwallon of Richlands NC, her daughter Christina (Chris Bornes) of Washington PA, and her brother and sister Pauline Kovach of Charleroi PA and Frank Talarico of Rillton PA. Toni’s grandchildren; Joe Shwallon, Ryan Shumar, Wade Shwallon, Ty Shwallon and Jacob Sanders, and her great-grandchildren; Joey Shwallon, Gianna Shwallon, Levi Shwallon, Adam Shwallon and Amara Rollins-Shwallon.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00a.m. on Friday, May 2nd, 2025 at HISTORIC CHURCH OF ST. PETER, 118 Church Street, Brownsville, PA 15417.
