Margaret "Peg" Nelan, 89, of Cleveland Heights, OH and previously from Low Hill, PA passed away Monday, May 23, 2005 at Cedarwood Plaza Nursing Facility in Cleveland Heights, OH.
She was born Margaret "Peg" Johnson on August 18, 1915 the daughter of the late Thomas and Rose (nee Mullins) Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her husband Clarence J. Nelan, a daughter Alverda Anastasio, her sisters Ethel Weimer, Maime Darney and Ina Sucer and brothers Ralph, Earl, Beryl and Raymond Johnson.
She was born in Kentucky and then later a resident of Low Hill, PA before moving to Ohio. She was a retired nurses' aide.
Peg is survived by her children; Arlene Nelan, Nelson Nelan, Norman Nelan, Thomas Nelan and Linda Prutow, 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA on Thursday May 26, 2005 from 4-8 PM and Friday May 27, 2005 until 11:00 am, the hour of service.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA. The family will also receive friends on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at The DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home, South Euclid, Ohio.
