Louise Fenton

Louise Fenton, 79, of Mount Pleasant, PA passed away Sunday July 29, 2007 at Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg, PA.

She was born February 5, 1928, a daughter of the late Arthur Shaffer and Hulda (Brown) Shaffer Newill.
She and her late husband, Paul L. Fenton, owned and operated a farm in Mount Pleasant Twp., for many years.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul. L. Fenton, in 1996, a granddaughter, Jody A. Novak, in 1998, a brother, Merle Shaffer, a sister, Gladys Lucille White, and a brother-in-law, Ray Newill.

She is survived by her daughter; Karen Joyce Novak, and her husband, John, of Grindstone, PA, a grandson; Jason J. Novak, and his wife, Janice, owners of Novak Funeral Home, Brownsville, PA, one brother; A. William Shaffer, and his wife Marlene, of Mount Pleasant, PA. Louise is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Joyce Shaffer, of Kecksburg, and Anna Newill, of Warsaw, Ind.; a brother-in-law, Wade White, of Mt. Pleasant; Family and friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, Norvelt. Her funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. James W. Hepler officiating. Interment will follow in Middle Presbyterian Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant Township. Her grandson, Jason J. and his wife Janice L. Novak, in care of her funeral arrangements.

Interment will follow in Middle Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Mount Pleasant, PA.
