Lillian May Bane Johnson, 89, of Fayette City, PA, went home to be with her Lord & Savior on Friday, July 20, 2007.
She was born August 3, 1917 in East Bethlehem, Washington County the daughter of the late John D. and Elizabeth (Jones) Bane. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband David A. Johnson in 1989, a sister Elizabeth Jones Bane, and two brothers John D. Bane and Robert E. Bane.
Lillian was a member of the Bible Baptist Church, Brownsville, PA for 32 years, she was a Sunday school teacher and treasurer of the Ladies Missionary.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters Beverly Demo, Monongahela, PA, Frances Kumer and husband Ralph, Washington, PA, and Karen Klein and her husband John, Monongahela, PA; three brothers Francis E. Bane, Centerville, PA, Donald H. Bane, Uniontown, PA and James M. Bane, Uniontown, PA; two sisters Betty Whetzel, Uniontown, PA and Joan Morris, Elizabeth, PA; 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 6 nieces and 8 nephews.
Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA today from 7 - 9pm, Sunday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9pm, and Monday, July 23, 2007 until 11:00 am the hour of service with Rev. Barry Stewart officiating.
Interment will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
