Lawrence "Bones" Wayne States Jr.

Lawrence “Bones” Wayne States Jr., 53, of Morgantown, WV, passed away on April 7th, 2025. Lawrence was born on September 29th, 1971, the son of Bonnie Martin and late Howard Martin and late Lawrence States Sr.

Lawrence is preceded in death by his grandparents Monoka Morris, James Fisher, Edna and Lawrence States, Harry and Thelma Yoders and his nephew Timmy “Biggie” Mick.

Surviving to cherish Lawrence’s memory; his sons Larry States Jr. and Nathan States, his siblings Dennis (Lucky) Baker, Tracy (Bill) Hutchinson, Terry Holmes, Sherry (Bill) Mick, Tammy (Adam) Bullied, Cody (Ashley) Martin, and his girlfriend Deana Hughes.

In addition, Lawrence’s nieces and nephews; Bill Hutchinson Jr., Ashley (Shawn) Large, Dalton Tosi, Stephanie (Stephen) Roberts, Cameron (Misty) Mick, Kyle (Bree) Gray, Ava Bullied, Adam Bullied Jr., Keana Martin, Aundrea Martin, and Cali Martin. His great nieces and nephews, Tyler Large, Brielle Gray, Atlas Mick, and Everly Roberts, and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Friends and family will be received from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 7:00pm on Thursday, April 17th, 2025 at NOVAK-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA 15417.
