LauraJane Bates,55, of Brownsville, PA passed away on Thursday,February 2, 2006 at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
She was born July 4, 1950, the daughter of Edith (Hiles) Bates and the late Russell Bates Sr.
She was survived by her mother Edith (Hiles) Bates of Uniontown, PA; four brothers Howard Bates of Denver, CO, Russell Bates Jr. of Uniontown, PA, Donald Bates of Hagerstown, Md and John Bates of Thurmont, Md; two sisters Lorinda Crawford of Hagerstown, Md and Diane Zelina of Uniontown, PA; three children Esther Miller of Greensburg, PA, Bernice Miller of Washington, PA, and Russell Miller of Chambersburg, PA; ten grandchildren Paula, Amanda and Christian Miller, Catlin Kinsley, Charles Moore III, all of Greensburg, PA, Dekota & Arrianne Miller of Chambersburg, PA, Samuel & Preston Zangla, Alyvia Dates of Washington, PA, Companion & Friend Mark Sabo of Denbo, PA and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death one brother in infancy and her late husband Clarence Miller, Sr.
Friends will be received at NOVAK FUNERAL HOME 515 Front St, Brownsville, PA on Sunday, February 12, 2006 from 1 - 2pm where a Memorial Service will be held with Rev. Scott Gallagher officiating.
