Oh, Katie, I know we all have to go one day, but it is so sad for all of us left behind who miss you so dearly. You were always so warm and loving, and we always felt like we were part of your family. We have some wonderful memories of being with you at Burnt Store Marina Country Club. My favorite picture of you is the one I took in front of the mirror when I had you turn toward it. I captioned it, "Who's the fairest of them all? Why Katie, of course!" And you were...the fairest, sweetest, cheeriest person anyone could want to be around. You are missed dearly. All our love to Bud, Chad, Kimbro and all the grandchildren too. We have attached the Flag because Katie was such a patriot

Katie was a beautiful woman inside and out. Oh, how I enjoyed when she would call for Chad, as she and I would take a few minutes to chat, and she brightened up my day at the office.
I will you miss you, Katie, but your spirit will live on forever.

dearest Grandma,
i'm missing you so much right now. i wish that you were here to tell me it's all ok, to hold my hand and squeeze it tight, but even though i cant feel you, i know you are with me always-in my heart. your spirt is here looking after me. you are a beautiful angel in heaven now, walking with all the others in the kingdom of god. your bright spirit shines among them and burns a light with in me, which will never extinguish. i'm so glad we were abel to spend all the time we did together, we had so much fun and made so many timeless memories. you're at peace now, this is the process of life and i understand now, you have been called to continue your journey with jesus in heaven. one day we will all be reunited again in a better place. until then i will miss you desperately and love you even more.

Dear Kim and Bud and Chad,
I am so sorry to hear about Katie. She, you know, is my mother too. Losing your mom, Kim and Chad, is a saddening but a life,love learning experience. I fell closer to Dolly somehow, now that she is gone. She is with me always. Time and your belief in God will make it better.
Since I learned about Katie I have gotten out my trophies from Nemacolin, and I am looking for my ribbon scrapebook. I am hoping to find old pictures of all of us. Those were the good old days!!
Please tell Bud I love him.
