Joseph Dale Tennant Sr.

Joseph Dale Tennant Sr., 73, of Hiller, passed away unexpectedly on January 12th, 2025. Dale was born on December 6th, 1951 in Waynesburg, PA to the late Harold and Freida (Deems) Tennant.

Dale and his family enjoyed playing dartball at the Eagles Club and being part of the family team The Wild Bunch. Dale was an avid fisherman and hunter, loved watching his favorite home team the Pittsburgh Steelers and drinking his favorite beer. He will be remembered as the most loving husband, father, and grandfather to his family, of whom will miss him dearly.

Surviving to cherish Dale’s memory; the love of his life Iris Tennant, his sons Ronald (Marcy) Aldridge and Doug (Lisa) Aldridge and his daughter Jamie (Bruce) Keefer. His grandchildren: Ronnie Aldridge, Dougie Aldridge, Dylan (Meagan) Aldridge, Derrik Aldridge, Kristen Jordan and Tyler Keefer. Dale’s great-grandchildren; Johnny (Dezerae) Kaminsky, Kylee Kaminsky, O’Shea Thomas Jr., O’Marion Thomas, Journee Jordan and Conner Aldridge.

In addition to his parents, Dale is preceded in death by his son Dale “Little Dale” Tennant Jr., his grandchildren Christopher Keefer and Amanda Aldridge.

Friends and family will be received from 5:00 to 7:00pm, at which time the funeral service will begin inside the funeral home, on Wednesday, January 15th, 2025 at NOVAK-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA 15417.
