I just learned today of John's passing. Words cannot express how sad I was to hear this. I was very fortunate to have such wonderful neighbors as I did when I lived near John and his wife Jean. We shared many laughs, and had some great conversations leaning against the fence in the backyard over the years. John was a wonderful man with a huge heart. He will be greatly missed.

We would like to express our deepest sympathy in the loss of your husband, father, and grandfather.  I was shocked to hear about John.  He was a very good friend and I will miss him dearly.  God bless all of you.

John was our Friend, Neighbor, and my Dad's hunting buddy years ago.  He was always there to offer his advice, {and sometimes even an unwanted opinion}, but never refused to lend a helping hand.  Just a week ago he was outside on the ground offering his help to Kevin while he fixed the tractor. He always admired the dedication Tyler gave to practicing baseball , especially in the middle of the night, with a bright light shinning directly in his front door and the continuous "ping" as Tyler practiced in his batting cage.  Funny how things repeat themselves, Tyler is in College now and we were the ones listening to that "ping" as John practiced baseball with his grandsons.  We will miss you Buddy.

John,

When our days on this earth are over, all we leave behind are memories. I'm sure your dad left you a lot of good ones.

Cherish them!

I had known John for 44 years and worked with him at the Allenport plant for 39 years. Our hire dates were nearly the same. Through the many roll backs we worked in the same departments together. John was the type of fellow you just had to like! He will be missed by all that were fortunate enough to know him!
