Jo Ann (Toye) Hartman Sutphin, 72, of Brownsville, PA, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2012 at the Uniontown Hospital.
She was born August 8, 1939 in Blainesburg, PA, the daughter of Fred and Julia (Miko) Toye. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step daughter Donna Lynn.
Jo Ann moved to Maryland for many years before returning back to Brownsville eight years ago. While living there she was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post #217 College Park, Maryland.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Charles Sutphin of Brownsville; her son Jeffery Wayne Hartman and wife Jamie, Valrico, FL; four stepchildren Robert, Charles, Kathy and Marsha; granddaughter Brittany Taylor Hartman; step grandchildren Quintin, Kobe, Marissa, Meghan, Katlyn and Kodi Sutphin; one brother John Toye and Linda, Whitehall, PA; sister Judith (Toye) Hughes and husband Will, Washington, WV and many, many friends.
Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA Sunday, June 3, 2012 from 1 - 4 PM.
