James N. Surgent, of Hiller, PA and originally from North Huntingdon, PA, left us on Monday, May 15, 2017 with his family by his side and now is at peace and has no more pain and suffering.
He leaves behind the love of his life, Nila Gai Parsons; 3 sons and their families, Jimmy and Pam of Georgia, Jeff and Lori of Ligonier, PA, and John and Angelina of Roanoke; brother in law, Ray Parsons and wife Leslie and family; sister in law, Cindy Wardman and husband Tom and family and many other family members, a special camping family and numerous friends.
At Jim’s request, there will be no viewing and funeral. Arrangements and professional services are in the care of NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA 15417.
A private Memorial service will be held at a later date.
A special thank you to Amedisys Hospice, especially nurses, Kristin N. and Cindy E. for all their support at this difficult time.
