James Ezra Stone, 96, of Brownsville, PA, passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2012 in Hillside Manor, Uniontown, PA.
He was born November 1, 1915 in Brownsville, PA the son of Samuel and Anna (Jackson) Stone. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara "Betty" Stone and his twin brother John B. Stone.
James served in the United States Army Air Corps. He also was a member of B.F.&A.M. Lodge #60.
He will be sadly missed by his two children Barbara Moeller and husband Erick of Roanoke, VA and James Stone and wife Andrea of Smock, PA, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and niece Krista (Stone) Kuhl, Mars, PA .
Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA on Sunday, August 12, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and Monday, August 13, 2012 until 11:00 AM the hour of service with the Rev. Steven Morganti officiating.
The B.F.&A.M. Lodge # 60 will hold their service Sunday at 7:30 PM in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in James' name to the American Lung Association 810 River Ave # 140 Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
