Jackie Lee Conner, 57, of Brownsville, passed away peacefully on November 27th, 2023, with his family by his side. Born in Brownsville on December 3rd, 1965, Jackie was the son of the late Robert Lee and Nancy (Conner) Miller.
Jackie was a special Olympics gold medalist and honorary fireman with the South Brownsville Fire Department. He enjoyed dancing, playing bingo, watching baseball, and attending Brownsville Light Up Night and the annual community Duck Race.
Jackie was very proud to be from Brownsville, the countless hours of community service and volunteer work was just a small example of how much he loved his Brownsville family. He could always be found with a big smile and heartfelt greeting everywhere he went.
Surviving to cherish Jackie’s memory; his brothers, Barry Miller, and Jerry (Cheryl) Doyle. Stepsister Maryann Miller, nephew Barry Miller Jr., his Aunt Jean (Don) Cox, Uncle Jack Conner and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents Jackie is preceded in death by his three aunt’s Dolores Woodring, Darlene Hampton, and Pearl Ulrey. His Uncle Joe Conner and his infant brother Terry Lee Conner.
Friends and family will be received from 2:00 to 8:00pm on Monday, December 4th, 2023, and from 9:00am to 11:00am on Tuesday December 5th, 2023 at which time funeral services will begin in the NOVAK-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA 15417. Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.
