Grover C. Ferguson

Grover C. Ferguson, III, 79, of Brownsville, PA, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. He was born June 30, 1939 in Brownsville, PA the son of Grover C. Ferguson, Jr. and Edna (Brooks) Ferguson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother David. R. Ferguson. Grover was an outstanding athlete in basketball and track (hurdles) at Brownsville High School class of 1957. After high school he enlisted in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He owned and operated Evergreen Floral Shop for many years in Brownsville and Republic. He was a past member and president of the Brownsville Rotary Club and a member of the First Baptist Church in California, PA. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 44 years, Sandra (Gilmore) Ferguson; his children, Cheryl Karol and husband Dennis, Jeff Markish and wife Valerie, Michael Mucy and Lisa Roth and husband Mike of Granite Bay, California; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and his two pets, Sami Jo and Charlie.  Professional services and arrangements are in the care of NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA 15417.
