Glenda Joyce Freas

Glenda Joyce Freas, 74, of East Millsboro, passed away on August 11th, 2025 at Uniontown Hospital. Glenda was born on February 8th, 1951 in Uniontown, to the late Willard Miller and Ruth Charlotte (Dillon) Franks.

Glenda was a member of the Fayette County Association of School Retirees. Glenda loved to travel with her family and husband Bill, especially to her favorite family vacation spot, the Outer Banks in North Carolina. She loved to go to the theater and cook for her friends and family, of whom will miss her dearly.

Surviving to cherish Glenda’s memory; her beloved husband William Haney Freas of East Millsboro, her son William Matthew and wife Laura Dianne (Humelsine) Freas of North Huntingdon, her daughter Jennifer Dawn (Freas) Behary and husband Brian Patrick Behary of Gahanna OH, and daughter Rebecca Lynn Freas of East Millsboro. Additionally, she is survived by her two (2) granddaughters Aubrielle Grace Behary and Nandini Hope Behary of Gahanna OH, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Glenda is preceded in death by her brothers Glenn Orville Franks and Willard Dillon Franks.

Friends and family will be received from 2:00 to 4:00p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00p.m. on Thursday, August 14th, 2025 at NOVAK-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA 15417. Funeral Service will be held inside the funeral home on Friday, August 15th, 2025 at 10:00a.m. Doors will open at 9:00a.m. Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park.
