Gerald "Jerry" Tiernan, 68, of Brownsville, PA, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015 in the Cherry Tree Nursing Center, Uniontown, PA.
He was born June 14, 1946 in Charleroi, PA, the son of the Leroy and Elizabeth Rodgers Tiernan. Jerry worked for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel before opening his own Scrap Metal and Welding business.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Peggy Tiernan, Brownsville, PA; daughter Jo Coleman, Gallatin, TN; granddaughter Heidi Beaumont; four sisters, Liz Welch, Mary Jane Bloom, Elaine Shirley and Deborah Stuckslager; brother John Tiernan and many nieces and nephews.
Services were private for the family.
