Freda Marie (Bowers) Tennant, 87, of Brownsville, PA passed away peacefully on September 28, 2012 in LaFayette Manor, Uniontown, PA.
She was born March 8, 1925 in Green County, PA, the daughter of Ralph and Grace (Parsons) Bowers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Clyde and Bill Tennant; two great grandsons; four sisters and three brothers.
She will be sadly missed by her three children: Shirley (Lash) Campbell, California, PA, Joseph Dale Tennant and wife Iris, Hiller, PA and Ralph "Gene" Tennant and wife Wendy, Smithfield, PA; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, two sisters, Georgia Lewis, Rutane, PA and Virginia Thomas, Spraggs, PA and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA on Sunday, September 30, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-9 PM and Monday, October 1, 2012 until 10:00 AM the hour of service with Rev. Steven Morganti officiating.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
