Evelyn I. Keefer

Evelyn I. Keefer, 82, of Brownsville, PA went home to be with her Lord & Savior on Monday August 1, 2005
She was born May 19, 1923 in Illinois, the daughter of the late Pastor Seth and Gladys Fulton Cobb. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harold Leroy Keefer, a brother, Harold Cobb, a sister Vera Michalek and a great grandson Christopher Keefer.
Evelyn was a charter member of the Bible Baptist Church of Brownsville and a member of the Ladies Missionary Fellowship. She was the organist for many years at the Bible Baptist Church and the former Kisinger Funeral Home, both of Brownsville.
She will be sadly missed by her three sons: Bob Keefer, and wife Cheryl, of Brownsville, PA, George Keefer and wife, Anne, of Brownsville, PA, and James Keefer and wife Cindy, of Brownsville, PA; 3 sisters Helen Nagy, of Florida Wilma Hallman, of California, PA and Joanna Gillow, of Prompton, PA; 7 grandchildren, Bruce and wife, Jamie, Brian, Melissa, Heidi, Travis, Dakota Keefer and Joshua Hale; and great grandson Tyler Keefer.
Family will receive friends at the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA today from 6-9 pm and Wednesday 2-4 and 6-9 pm. Funeral Services will be held at the Bible Baptist Church, 729 Lewis Street, Brownsville, on Thursday August 4, 2005 at 11:00 am with the Rev. Barry Stewart officiating.
Interment will follow in Redstone Cemetery.
