Edward I. Patsko, 88, of Hiller, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2024, at home with his family by his side. Born in Brownsville on July 30th, 1935, Ed was the son of the late Adam Patsko Sr. and Anna (Hunyadi) Patsko.
A graduate of Brownsville Highschool, Ed served his country honorably in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Ed worked for over 30 years at California University of Pennsylvania until his retirement. Ed loved rooting for his favorite local sports teams, especially the Pittsburgh Pirates. He was an avid hunter, loved fishing, planting his yearly garden and listening to Polka music.
Surviving to cherish Ed’s memory; his wife Elizabeth Ann Patsko, his son with whom he made his home with David Edward Patsko and his sister Bernadette Cierebiej. Along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ed is preceded in death by his 11 brothers and sisters and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received at the NOVAK-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA 15417, on Tuesday July 9th, 2024, from 9 :00AM to 12:00PM at which time a blessing service inside the funeral home beginning at NOON.
