Dorothy Louise Pellick Calhoun, 73, a resident of Colonial #4, Grindstone, PA, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at Highlands Hospital, Connellsville, PA.
She was born, January 12, 1935 in Jefferson Twp. The daughter of the late James H. and Gertrude E. Guesman Pellick. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth E "Red" Calhoun.
Dorothy was a member of the Central Christian Church, disciples of Christ, Uniontown, PA. She was also a long time employee of Bud Spesak Pontiac in Monongahela and retired as Office Manager for Matway Ford, Chrysler and Plymouth.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters; Penny Liptak Masney and fiance Joey Brewer, of Orlando, Fl, and Cheryl lynne Liptak and husband Bernard Liptak of Grindstone, PA; Grandchildren, Jennifer Clark, Deanna Liptak, and Jeremy Liptak and wife Gina, all of Grindstone, PA; Great-Grandchildren; George Clark III and Gracie Renee Liptak, of Grindstone, PA, her brother; Jim Pellick and wife Mary Lou, of Mineral, Virginia and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA today from 2 - 9 PM, December 19, 2008 from 10 - 11 AM at the CENTRAL CHRISTIAN CHURCH, disciples of Christ, 23 S. Gallatin Ave, Uniontown, PA. The funeral will follow at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Art Mace officiating.
Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
