Dorothy C. Branson, 68, of Chestnut Ridge, PA went to be with the Lord in her home, surrounded by her family on March 9, 2015. Born May 11, 1946 the daughter of the late George C. and Martha Turner. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, George R., and a brother, George E. Turner, and a sister-in-law, Dora Turner.
She was a devoted mother of the five children, Clyde (Kimberly), of Chestnut Ridge, Pa, Clarence, of Navarre, FL, Scott (Tara) of Newark, DE, Brandy Whitehead (Chris) of Sewickley, PA, and Chris (CJ) of Greensburg, Pa. She is survived by one sibling. Marion (Clyde) Turner of Brownsville, PA. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, Jessica, Jordan, Clarence Jr. (CJ), Carlie, Brandon, Cameron, Natasha, Terrance, and Chris and 4 great grandchildren, Jaidyn, Ja’Kiah, Jalaya and Javonte. She is loved by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Family and friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA on Thursday, March 12, 2015 from 4 - 8 PM. Additional viewing will be held Friday, March 13, 2015 at the FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF SMOCK, Beatty Road, Smock, PA 15480, from 10:00 - 11:00 AM, the hour of service with Rev. Charles E. Morgan officiating.
Interment will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
