Donald L. "Whitey" Lambert, 75, of Brownsville, died on Monday, November 16, 2015. Born on July 17, 1940, he was the son of the late Robert and Eleanor Lambert.
He was retired as a foreman for Koppers Monessen coke plant. He also worked as a bus driver for Brownsville Area schools and enjoyed farming and bowling.
Whitey is survived by his wife, Martha Rutherford Cramer Lambert; daughter, Tracie (Bill) Fonbille, of Pittsburgh, son, Donald "Tony" Lambert, of Kentucky; step-sons, Chris Cramer, of Pittsburgh, and James Cramer, of Ephrata, PA; step-daughters, Gloria (Roger) Lighthall, of Glenville, and Brenda Cramer, of East Millsboro; granddaughters, Bree Lynn and Jenessa Lambert, both of Brownsville; step-grandchildren, Ryan, Jeremy and Derek Lighthall, Ashley and Alyssa Harn, and Mark and Christopher Cramer; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, James Warren, of Washington, and John Warren, of Oklahoma; and sisters, Peggy Pryor, of Washington, Carol Ann Lambert, of Washington, Mary McDonald, of Marianna, Shirley Marficano, of North Carolina, and Evelyn Holt, of Washington.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by brothers, Henry and Pete Lambert.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18, in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front St, Brownsville. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, in the funeral home, conducted by Pastor Mike Peton. Interment will follow in Acklin Burial Park.
