Dolores "Toots" (Bakewell) Elko

Dolores " Toots" Bakewell Elko, of Brownsville, PA, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013, at the Grand Residence at Upper St. Clair.

She was born in West Brownsville, PA,  the daughter of James R. and Bertha Moffit Bakewell.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Philip Elko.

Dolores worked as a telephone operator for 31 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Brownsville, PA.

She will be sadly missed by her three children, Lynn Petko and husband John Skinkis, Brownsville, PA, Kevin Elko and wife Karen, Preston, PA and Lou Ann Kelly and husband Shawn, McDonald, PA;  six grandchildren, Joshua Petko and wife Jenny and Samuel Petko and wife Christa, Collin and Connor Kelly and Claire and Jared Elko and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA, on Sunday, July 14, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and Monday, July 15, 2013 until 10:00 AM the hour of service with the Rev. Paul Sandusky officiating. 

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park in Brier Hill, PA
