David John Frantz, Jr. 55, passed away suddenly on Friday, March 30, 2012 at his home in Hiller, PA.
He was born in November 11, 1956 in Dubois, PA the son of the late David "Yunk" Frantz, Sr.
Surviving is his wife of 8 Years, Patricia R. (Bugai) Frantz, Hiller, PA; daughter Caitlyn Frantz, Dubois, PA and an adopted daughter Mary Rose Knupsky, Hiller, PA; his mother Emily Adair, Dubois, PA ; sister Gail Anne (Frantz) Dezanet and her husband Tom and beloved niece Ashley, Ridgeway, PA ; Brother John Frantz and his wife Julie, nieces Amanda and Laura and nephew Adam Ott, St Mary's, PA; twin sister Terry (Frantz) Gasbarre and husband Bill, nephew Jeff and niece Kristin, Dubois, PA; Brother Jody, Jean and family; Best friends Tim and Terry Kilpatrick and their children Johnny and Sara, whom he treated like his own children; mother-in-law Margaret (Mum) Bugai, Hiller, PA; sister-in-law Deborah and husband Jack Griest, Allison #2, PA; Brother-in-law Edward Bugai, Brownsville, PA and sister-in-law Frances Bugai, Hiller, PA; many more nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, and all his loving family, friends and comrades that may not have been mentioned.
David had two dogs named Bella Donna Victoria and Gus Gus Frantz, whom he loved and adored with all his heart.
David was in the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War. He was also a member of the West Brownsville American Legion Post 940 and he was the Director and State Officer of Region 1.
He loved his family, riding bikes, his pets, Jack Daniels and cooking on the grill.
A Memorial Service for David will be held on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the American Legion Post 940, in West Brownsville, PA.
