Carol A. (Lowery) Vlasich

Carol A. Vlasich, 75, of Grindstone, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017.

She was born September 15, 1941 in Connellsville, PA, the daughter of John, Sr. and Helen (Chernko) Lowery.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, David G. Vlasich, two brothers, Jim and Mick Lowery and two sisters, Betty Winslow and Romaine Peskie.

Carol loved baking and cooking, and having all her family gather together.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Paul J. Vlasich, Sr.,  Grindstone, PA; two remaining sons, Paul J. Vlasich, Jr., Hampton, NH and Robert S. Vlasich and wife Susette, Charlotte, NC; seven grandchildren, Zachery, Tyler, Michelle, Rachel, Samuel, Joshua and Matthew Vlasich; two brothers, John Lowery, Auburn, NJ and Robert Lowery, Upper Middleton, PA; sister in law, Rose Lowery, Harrisburg, Pa; brother in law, Frank Peskie, Smock, PA and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 until 10:00 AM the hour of service with Rev. Father Alvin Cabungcal .

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
