Betty June (Anderson) Clark

Betty June (Anderson) Clark, 84, of Grindstone, PA, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012.

She was born June 23, 1927, in Clarksville, PA, the daughter of Effie (Armel) and Ora Anderson, Sr.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Clark, Sr.; son Thomas Clark, Jr.; grandson Johnny Shaneyfelt, Jr.; two brothers Ora Anderson, Jr. and Robert Anderson, and two sisters Emily Stanton and Marie Metz.

Betty worked for a few companies before she went to work at the Brownsville Drive-In, which she retired from after 20 years. She had worked for Republic Sportsware in Republic for 15 years and before that for Parks and Tilford in Brownsville.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter Linda Pierce, Ohio; two sons Robert Clark and wife Susan, Brownsville and John Sebeck, Grindstone, PA; two granddaughters Raynette Guesman, Grindstone, PA and Bobbi Sue Thompson, Tower Hill II, PA; three great grandchildren Maria Sparks, Brownsville, PA, Kennita Tomlin, Grindstone, PA and Lewis Robert Sparks, Gates, PA; brother William Anderson and wife Sharon, Washington, PA and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA on Monday, May 7, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 and Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8.  A Committal Service will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at LAFAYETTE MEMORIAL PARK in Brier Hill, PA, at 11:00 AM.
