Benjamin "Benny" H. Anderson

Benjamin "Benny" H. Anderson, 71, of Grindstone, PA passed Sunday, March 30, 2014 with his loving wife, of 46 years, by his side.

He was born November 15, 1942 in Brownsville, PA the son of  Edward and Lena (Pallotto) Anderson. 

Benjamin was employed at the Maple Creek Mine as a coal miner and the Brownsville Area School District in maintenance.   He was a member of the American Legion Post #940 West Brownsville, PA;  American Legion Rider; California Gun Club and loved riding his motorcycle and watching his grand kids playing ball.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Carol (Moody) Anderson, of Grindstone, PA;  daugher, Tina Wasko and husband Mark, of Brownsville, PA; son, Scott Anderson and wife Buffy, of Louisiana; 3 grandchildren Cheyenne Wasko, Madison Anderson and Scott Anderson; and his beloved dog Crystal.

Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA, Tuesday, April 1, 2014  from 2-4 and 6-9 PM and Wednesday, April 2, 2014 until 11:00 AM, the hour of service, with the Rev. Jay Polosky, officiating. 

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made in Benny's name to: South Brownsville United Methodist Church, 412 Second Street, Brownsville, PA 15417 or Fayette Friends of Animals, 223 Village of Searights,  Uniontown, PA  15401.
