Barbara (Bobbi) Jean VanDivner

Barbara (Bobbi) VanDivner passed Monday, March 17, 2014, with her loving family by her side. Bobbi was born in Brownsville, PA to the late Harold Crawford and Olivia Ann Ainsley. Bobbi graduated from Shaw High School (Cleveland, OH). She will be sadly missed by her husband, Rick VanDivner, whom she married on August 11, 1990. 4 daughters: Pamela Hayes - Durham, NC (husband Richard Scearce); Cheryll Ann Hayes - Brownsville, PA; Patricia Balchick - Brownsville, PA (husband Eugene Michael Balchick); and Julie Carter – Lancaster, OH (husband John Carter). She was preceded in death by a son Kenneth L. Hayes and a daughter Victoria L. Catalde (husband Tom Catalde). She is also survived by three siblings: Ruth Twardzik (OH), Patrick Ainsley (TN), and Brenda Joffre (OH). Bobbi has twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Bobbi was a member of the Braznell Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and a member of the Brownsville Fire Company #1 Ladies Auxiliary. In the past, she worked at Morriston’s Restaurant (Brownsville, PA) as a cook/waitress: she also was a chef at Ricardo’s Italian Restaurant (Cleveland, OH): and more recently worked at Taco Bell (Uniontown, PA). Bobbi loved to cook and she loved to make people happy through meals that she would prepare. Bobbi also was an avid “I Love Lucy” fan and could be found most days watching Lucy reruns. She loved her Lucy collectibles. Friends and family will be received at the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, March 19th 2014 from 2-4 pm and 6-9 PM and Thursday, March 20th, 2014 at 11 AM with Reverend Robert A. Drylie officiating.
