Ann Marodi Russin, 86, of Brownsville, PA died Monday, March 24, 2008.
She was born on December 9, 1921 the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Postic Marodi. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Russin, brother Charles Marodi and infant daughter Verna Ann Russin.
Ann was a life long resident of Brownsville. She was a member of the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church where she was a member of the church choir and Ladies Altar Society. She owned and operated, along with her husband John, Shure's Clothing Store in Brownsville for many years. In retirement she enjoyed her grandchildren and traveling with her husband John.
She is survived by her three daughters Joanne White and husband Jack, Troutville, VA, Martha Davis and husband James, Brownsville, PA and Kathy Coombs and husband Mike, Litchfield, Maine; seven grandchildren Cara Davis Teslovich, Jeremy Davis, Adina Davis, Jacob Davis, Kalie Davis, Jocelyn White Ingram and Jared White; three great grandchildren Hannah and Eli Teslovich and Aliya Davis.
Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA today from 2-4 and 6-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at 10:00 am in the Holy Ressurection Orthodox Church, West Brownsville, PA with the Rev. Father John Kluthko officiating.
Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
