Sylvesta Irene “Boots” (Brockman) Noga, 89, of Brownsville, PA, went to be with the Lord, Monday, August 13, 2018. She was born September 6, 1928 in Vestaburg, PA the daughter of Martin M. and Pierre Elizabeth (Cock) Brockman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Stephen Paul Noga, two sons Steve Noga and Ronald Keith Noga; three grandsons, Jay Scott Noga, Jason Paul Noga and Mark Anthony Costello and all eight of her siblings, Marion Vance, Leah Stefanik, Margaret Ruffner, Grace Umble-Ford, Wilma, Moneart, Ruth Ann Knight, Clara Porterfield and Martin Brockman Sylvesta was a lifelong member of Allison Church of the Nazarene. She will be sadly missed by her son George Noga, Brownsville, PA; daughter Garnet Wooten and husband Terry, West Brownsville, PA; two grandsons, Ronnie Costello and wife Michelle and Domenic Costello and wife Rebecca; granddaughter in law, Beth Costello; step granddaughter, Tanna Thompson; great grandchildren, Joshua Varga, Desiree Noga, Justina, Kayla, Hayden and Mark Costello; step great granddaughter, Emma Frank; great, great grandchildren, Lilliana Wolf and Julius Wolf and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-9 PM and Friday, August 17, 2018 from 10:00-11:00 AM the hour of service with Rev. Robert Spence and Pastor Rodney Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
