Betty Lou (Kennedy) Bastian

Betty Lou Kennedy Bastian, 76, of Brownsville, PA, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017.
She was born on October 1, 1940 in LaBelle, PA, the daughter of Joseph William Kennedy and Mary Ann Dingle Kennedy Bolin.  
She graduated from Brownsville Area High School in 1958.  She loved baking, cooking, painting ceramics, collecting baby dolls, listening to music and helping others.
We knew you had to leave us, but you didn’t go alone, for you took a piece of us with you.  You will be sadly missed by daughter, Candy Staggers and husband Gary, granddaughter Brionna Staggers and grandson, Brayden Staggers, all of Brownsville, PA.
Our home will never be the same.
Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA on Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.  A Blessing service will be held at 4:00 PM in the funeral home with Rev. Father Timothy Kruthaupt officiating.
Please remember the BEST TIMES, the laughter, the song, the LIFE I lived while I was strong.  Play the song Paper Roses by Marie Osmond in memory of me.
Her final resting place is next to her husband, Vernon F. Bastian (Bumps) in the Garden of St. John, LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
